Launched in 2021, on the backdrop of COP26 in Glasgow, 2026 is the 6th running of the UK Rally, and will be the third EV Rally Cymru. Throw in the Europa Rally from ‘25 and we can already boast 10 events that showcase all aspects of e-mobility… In real-world conditions!
We have pushed the boundaries… Taken on challenges that have never been attempted, on this scale, before… And we have achiEVed! We have proven that the switch to e-mobility is possible… That the charging infrastructure is already good, and is getting better, year on year… We’ve busted myths, we’ve changed perceptions… In short, the EV RALLY events work!
So, what do we have in store next?
In September, we will once again take 5 days to prove EV viability, and because of the ‘FUD’ (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt) that still surrounds the world of EV, we feel there is a need to ‘bust some myths’ along the way, in the form of live, real-world demonstrations. And, as usual, we will combine this with our usual examples of innovation in charging infrastructure and clean energy as we go.
NEW FOR 2026! Plus, as more focus shifts to the world of eHGV, with additional government funding announced as we were going to press with this new website, NOW is the time to showcase this rapidly developing sector – the new, bespoke eHGV charging hubs AND the vehicle technology. So, there will be a ‘Rally within the Rally’ in ‘26… TRUCKS+TRAILERS!
October sees us return to Wales, and supported by Transport for Wales once again, we will showcase the latest in e-mobility – including charging and clean energy – across the principality.
Since 2021, the EV Rally has grown a reputation for truly showcasing e-mobility, in a real-world setting. Over and above the mileage driven, the event is a success as it demonstrates thought-leadership, innovative charging solutions and new and innovative vehicle technology. And running throughout the ‘event DNA’ is the amazing sense of achievement, thanks to the ‘Partners’ who work tirelessly to ensure the event is a success… Helping us change perceptions, and bust myths. And at the core of it all is the PEOPLE. There is not an event in this industry that has the ‘feel’ of the Rally… Power to the People!

Supported by Transport for Wales and Welsh Government, EV Rally Cymru was back for a second year, and once again we took in clean energy, charging infrastructure and some stunning scenery. Join us in ‘26.
