Together, we deliver regionally on transport and planning, and work to enhance the North Wales economy - through transformational programmes such as the North Wales Growth Deal and the Flintshire and Wrexham Investment Zone. All designed to create thousands of jobs and prosperity for our people, communities and businesses – ensuring that North Wales is connected, resilient, smart and sustainable.

Last year Ambition North Wales produced the North Wales Regional Transport Plan (2025-2030) by working alongside partners including local authorities, Transport for Wales and Welsh Government. Local authorities are well into the first year of delivery. The plan recognises the increasingly important role of electric and other zero-emission vehicles in travel across North Wales. This year, we have allocated Regional Transport Fund funding to install EV chargers across the region, with continued investment forming an important part of future plans. Ambition North Wales is also supporting the sector through its Clean Energy Fund, which invests in green energy projects, including EV charging infrastructure.
