FSEW is a leading privately owned international freight forwarding company that is pioneering change by demonstrating how low carbon transport is commercially viable. Geoff Tomlinson launched the business in 2002. Today FSEW operates from our headquarters at Wentloog, Cardiff, with a workforce of over 100 people.
We are the UK’s only freight decarbonisation specialists in the industry, providing integrated intermodal freight transport services across the UK, Europe, and internationally.
FSEW launched the UK’s first commercial use electric HGVs in partnership with Tesco in 2021. This year we have added a fully electric distribution service lane for Tesco between Maesteg and Magor as well as a trial of a second fully electric lane from Maestag to Tesco Lichfield.
In December 2024 FSEW officially became diesel free, replacing all diesel with a combination of fully electric including the Volvo FM electric truck and 100% Biomethane trucks. This has resulted in 2.4million carbon intensive ‘diesel kms’ being avoided by deploying our fleet of Ultra Low Emission Vehicles (ULEVs), reducing CO² emissions by 2,400 tonnes. Our recently launched product Greenflow allows clients to ship to and from anywhere in the world whether it is by road, rail, air or sea net zero, reducing Scope 3 emissions.
