Haynes Motor Museum

Haynes Motor Museum, located in Sparkford, Somerset, is home to the UK’s largest and most diverse collection of cars and motorbikes. Founded by John Haynes OBE, creator of the iconic Haynes Owners Workshop Manuals, the Museum is an independent charity dedicated to preserving and celebrating automotive history.
The collection spans more than a century of motoring, with more than 300 exceptional vehicles on display, from rare classics and vintage models to modern supercars, hybrid technology and new fuel innovations. Visitors can explore themed exhibitions that tell stories not just of engineering innovation but also of the social and cultural impact of motoring on everyday life.
As well as being a vibrant visitor attraction, Haynes Motor Museum is a centre for learning, offering hands-on workshops, educational programmes and events for schools, families and enthusiasts. Temporary exhibitions and live events ensure there is always something new to discover. The Museum also looks to the future, exploring innovation, sustainability, electric vehicles, hybrid systems and alternative fuels that are shaping the next era of mobility.
Welcoming over 100,000 visitors each year, the Museum’s mission is to inspire, educate and engage people of all ages with the science, technology and engineering of motoring. All proceeds support its charitable work, ensuring the collection is safeguarded for generations to come.
